‘Vivo’ Trailer Teases a Vibrant Musical Adventure for Netflix

vibrant musical adventure movies

The new Netflix animated film Vivo features original music from Lin-Manuel Miranda in a vibrant musical adventure package.

The film follows the story of a unique furry creature called Vivo and his elderly owner Andrés (Juan de Marcos González), the pair spending their days playing music in a lively square.

When Andrés receives word from the famous singer Marta Sandoval (Gloria Estefan) asking to reconnect, Andrés sends his fluffy friend Vivo to deliver a love letter to his old flame Marta, in the form of a song.

Vivo enlists the aid of Gabi (Ynairaly Simo), a carefree teen, to help him on his journey to deliver Andrés’ letter to his long lost love.

Music is commonly known as the language of love, and Sony Pictures Animation’s latest uses that theme to the full extent in this new vibrant musical adventure film.

Vivo features an exciting soundtrack featuring original music from Hamilton and In the Heights (2021) creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, so fans of the popular artist’s work will have a lot to enjoy here.

The film features colourful animation and cutesy characters with universal themes that should appeal to all audiences, with Sony aiming to take back some of Disney Pixar’s Soul (2020) fans.

Vivo will be available on Netflix from 6 August 2021.
