Miles Morales meets Peter Parker and various other Spider-People in this new sneak peek video for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
This new sneak peek at the upcoming Sony Pictures Animation film sees Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), the ‘only’ Spider-Man in the world the film is set in, come face to face with many other Spider-People when a portal to multiple dimensions opens.
Together they must join forces to stop a world-ending threat and take down Spider-Man’s nemeses, The Kingpin (Liev Schreiber).
Morales meet alternates versions of Spider-Man that include the classic Peter Parker (Jake Johnson) version, Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld), Spider-Man Noir (Nic Cage) Spider-Ham (John Mulaney) and Peni Parker (Kimiko Glenn).
Into the Spider-Verse will feature a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind and screen in 3D.
Superhero movie fever is as strong as ever in 2018, with Spider-Man still right up there with the most-popular superheroes (if not the most popular) to have ever graced our screens.
Into the Spider-Verse should make for a nice fill for fans as we await the arrival of the Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) sequel, Far Fome Home, which is due in 2019.
The film is produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the creative heads behind The Lego Movie (2014) and 21 Jump Street (2012).
It’s directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman and hits cinemas on 13 December 2018.
