A sentimental new trailer for Avengers: Endgame has been released and while we see a new look for the Avengers, we’re still none the wiser as to what will actually happen in this film.
The first teaser and now the second, official trailer below have really both just teased the upcoming mega movie event that is Avengers: Endgame.
In this new trailer, we can see the film’s heroes reflect on the past while having to adapt to the present after the shocking finale of Avengers: Infinity War.
Captain Marvel makes a welcome appearance towards the end after successfully being entered into the fold with her own film recently and we get to see a cool new look for the Avengers as they’re, presumably, about to head off on a mission.
Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), who were both absent from Infinity War get some more screentime in the trailer and I’m assuming they’ll have some key roles to play in the film.
Endgame will mark the finale of the culmination of events that have been built up over 21 Marvel Studios films since 2008’s Iron Man (damn, 20 years has flown).
It could be, and probably will be, Marvel’s biggest hit to date as fans around the world will be eagerly anticipating to see how everything plays out in the end.
We can also expect Marvel to set up some future films at the end of this one and sadly, it seems as though some of the original Avengers may not be returning.
The film hits cinemas on 24 April 2019.
