Newest Pixar Short Announced to Screen Before Incredibles 2 – ‘Bao’

Pixar animated short film Bao has been announced as the lead in for the highly anticipated upcoming film, Incredibles 2.

According to EW, Bao centers on a mother missing her children, who gets another chance at motherhood when one of her handmade dumplings comes to life.

The short, coming it at around seven minutes, sounds like it will provide the adorable charm we’ve come to expect of Pixar.

In addition to a synopsis, EW have also given a glimpse of the short, posting a still from Bao (which can be seen at the top of the page).

It’s been 14 years since the first Incredibles film was released, making the upcoming sequel one of the more anticipated Pixar releases of note.

The first film was a hit at the box office, and received a positive reception from fans and critics alike.

Both the new short Bao, and Incredibles 2 can be seen in cinemas from 15 June 2018.
