The teaser trailer for fashion designer Tom Ford’s new film Nocturnal Animals has been released, starring Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Shannon.
The trailer only teases the plot of the film, where Amy Adams’ character receives a novel written by her ex-husband, which contains a violent story that she interprets to be some kind of personal threat and the drama ensues.
The cinematography of the film as seen in the trailer looks stunning, which makes sense considering Ford comes from the fashion world, where surface-appeal is everything.
This film does look promising though, with this impressive trailer setting the stage for what could be an outstanding dramatic thriller with twists and turns.
Joining Adams, Gyllenhaal and Shannon is an outstanding supporting cast which includes Aaron Taylor Johnson, Andrea Riseborough, Isla Fisher, Laura Linney and Michael Sheen.
Whether the film ends up being good or bad, it will be worth a look just to see that cast in the same film.
Nocturnal Animals is due out on 9 December 2016 in the USA.
