A short new international trailer for the upcoming Disney animated film Moana, starring Dwayne Johnson has been released.
The one-minute trailer focuses on the super-cute title character of Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) and places emphasis on what appears to be her magical gifts.
The first English language teaser trailer was also released recently, but like the one below, it didn’t feature much in the way of the story.
We’re still waiting for a full trailer to be released so we can see what the film is all about, but one thing we know for sure is the animation is gorgeous.
Moana has some heavyweight directors on board as well, in Ron Clements and John Musker – the duo that’s directed other Disney classics such as Aladdin and The Little Mermaid.
So with Dwayne Johnson on board in a lead voice-role, outstanding directors, beautiful animation and what’s sure to be a heartfelt story, it looks like Moana may be another hit for Disney when it’s out on 26 December 2016 in Australia.
A young woman uses her navigational talents to set sail for a fabled island. Joining her on the adventure is her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui.
