Jordan Peele Returns with New Horror/Thriller ‘Us’ – Trailer

There are only two words that can describe the trailer for Us, the new horror film from writer/director Jordan Peele – holy shit!

The Wilson family, consisting of parents Adelaide (Lupita Nyong’o) and Gabe (Winston Duke) and their two young children, escape to a beach-house property for a holiday when they come face to face with murderous copies of themselves once night falls.

The award-winning director of the 2017 smash hit Get Out, Jordan Peele, returns to the writer/director chair for his latest film Us, and it appears he has taken his talents for horror to the next level.

The horror aspects in Get Out were of the slow-burning, dreadful type, which suited that film perfectly due to its symbolic subject matter.

It looks as though the dread-factor is back in this film, however, there’s an added element of brutal violence and terrifying horror imagery to elevate this film above its predecessor.

Us appears to have plenty of symbolism in its story as well and should make for a thought-provoking, sick-inducing standout horror film for 2019.

Nyong’o and Duke are joined by co-stars Elisabeth Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Anna Diop and Tim Heidecker.

It’s due for release on 15 March 2019, check out the awesomely terrifying new trailer below!
