‘Headshot’ – Trailer for New Ultraviolent Action Film

Check out the violence-filled trailer for the upcoming action film Headshot, featuring martial arts superstar, Iko Uwais.

Uwais, the star of the excellent The Raid films plays an amnesiac who discovers he is a martial arts killing machine in this Indonesian revenge flick by directors Kimo Stamboel and Timo Tjahjanto.

Fans of The Raid films know of the potential behind a great Indonesian martial arts film, with those films having pushed the boundaries on the action front.

In the trailer below, we get a glimpse of some of the action in Headshot, and it looks spectacular – extremely violent, but spectacular.

The film is due to do some rounds at upcoming international film festivals, however there is no release date scheduled locally in Australia at this stage.

IMDB Synopsis:

Uwais plays a young man who washes ashore, an amnesiac with a serious head injury whose past comes back to haunt him shortly after being nursed back to health by a young doctor. Violence ensues. Sweet, sweet violence.
