Deadpool Recruits Members for X-Force in New Trailer

The newest trailer for Deadpool 2 sees the titular hero build a new group of super-powered team members known as X-Force.

Fans of Marvel comicbooks will immediately recognise the X-Force name; the team of superheroes (or anti-superheroes) led by Cable (played by Josh Brolin here).

It appears the film will stray from the comics and have Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) build the team, rather than having Cable as its leader, if the trailer is anything to go by.

There could of course be more to it than that, and we won’t know for sure until the film releases.

The new trailer also features more of the film’s story-arc, as well as the glorious violence we can expect from it.

Deadpool’s first outing in 2016 was a huge success, with its blend of gory violence and crude humour, setting it apart from what we’ve come to expect from modern mainstream superhero films.

It appears the upcoming sequel will stick to the same successful formula, which will surely keep everyone happy.

Deadpool 2 sees the arrival of some new faces, which aside from Brolin also include Zazie Beetz as Domino, Terry Crews as Bedlam, and young Kiwi standout Julian Dennison.

Dennison seems like a great fit for this film, after seeing his comedic abilities in the outstanding film Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016).

The film hits cinemas on 17 May 2018, check out the new trailer below.
