Disney brings back Christmas fun in the trailer for the upcoming film Noelle, starring Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader.

Father Christmas has retired and it’s now up to his son Nick (Hader) to take over the slack (or sack, in this case).

Nick isn’t too keen, however, and when he goes missing after his sister Nicole (Kendrick) suggests he take a weekend off, she has to make sure Christmas runs smoothly while trying to find her brother.

Disney has a successful track record of producing enjoyable Christmas movies, though they have been absent from the field for quite a while now.

Their new film, Noelle, breaks that hiatus, in what looks like a fun and entertaining family movie.

The trailer outlines the film’s plot while setting the family-friendly, humorous tone and it looks like a film that should please all ages of movie fans.

Noelle will premiere exclusively on Disney’s upcoming streaming service, Disney+ on 12 November 2019 in the States and on 19 November 2019 in Australia and New Zealand.

The film marks just one of many original programs to come from the powerhouse studio, exclusively for its new streaming service, which is set to shake up the streaming industry.

It co-stars Billy Eichner and Shirley MacLaine and is directed by Marc Lawrence.

Check out the trailer below for a new dose of Christmas fun.
