See director Cary Fukunaga, Daniel Craig, Jeffrey Wright and Lashana Lynch in this behind the scenes video on the set of Bond 25 in Jamaica.
The production of the highly anticipated 25th instalment of the James Bond franchise is officially underway, as this new video highlights some behind-the-scenes footage from the film on location in Jamaica.
This is more of a unique behind-the-scenes look at the film in that it’s just several clips pieced together to the tune of some reggae music.
There’s no voice-over or interviews with the cast and crew, but rather it’s purely visual, set to a tune that’s relevant to the culture of the filming location.
Director Cary Fukunaga can be seen in the video and his excellent visual style is all over this film based on what we can see in the short clip below.
Fukunaga recently replaced original director Danny Boyle who left the production last year due to creative differences.
While relatively inexperienced compared to Boyle, Fukunaga is definitely no slouch in the director’s chair, having directed the awesome Netflix drama Beast of No Nation (2015) and the first season of HBO’s True Detective.
He also wrote the screenplay for the hugely successful Stephen King adaptation IT (2017), so the man can do it all.
Daniel Craig reprises his role as James Bond and the film features a great supporting cast that includes Rami Malek, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright and Ana de Armas.
The film is scheduled for release on 8 April 2020.
