The new video featurette for A Quiet Place: Part II is a perfect refresher for audiences looking to get up to speed on the events of the first film before the sequel is released.
Horror movie fans were thrilled with John Krasinki’s 2018 smash hit A Quiet Place, a film that follows a family trapped in a world overrun by deadly monsters that only reveal themselves when a noise is made.
This causes the family, led by Emily Blunt, to be ultra-cautious of making any sounds in order to stay alive.
To make matters worse for them, Blunt’s character is pregnant and gives birth about halfway through the film.
The film was a huge success, adored by fans and critics alike, so it was no surprise to see a sequel green-lit soon after its release.
John Krasinski is back at the helm of A Quiet Place: Part II, along with a featured role in the film and the original cast including Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds reprise their roles.
New characters joining the film include Cillian Murphy, who is featured in the video below as well as Djimon Hounsou.
The sequel takes place directly after the events of the first film and sees the family back out on the road looking for what seems like a new place to lay low.
Along the way, they’ll meet some potentially dangerous new characters as they discover that the monsters aren’t the only threat in the world.
The new video below features Krasinski and Murphy recapping the events of the first film as well as what to expect from the sequel, making for a nice refresher for fans.
A Quiet Place: Part II is set for release on 19 March 2020.
