Trailer for New Film ‘A Wrinkle in Time’, is it to Become a Classic?

a wrinkle in time trailer

The first major motion-picture adaptation of the classic novel A Wrinkle in Time written by Madeleine L’Engle is set to be released early next year.

A Wrinkle in Time is a Disney movie directed by Ava DuVernay and stars Storm Reid, Chris Pine, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Reese Witherspoon and Oprah Winfrey.

With an all-star cast, a $103 million budget and a much loved plot, the film is highly anticipated.

A Wrinkle in Time is a science fiction/fantasy film that tells the story of a little girl, Meg Murray (Storm Reid), whose father (Chris Pine) has been missing for years after his studies of new dimensions took him to a new planet.

With the help of her mum, brother, and wise space travelers (Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling), Meg explores different dimensions and travels through time and space to find her father.

A Wrinkle in Time looks like a mix of Inception (2010) and The Wizard of Oz (1939) and seems to have the potential to become a children’s classic, with a plot that can entertain children and adults alike.

This film’s only downfall could be trying to fit too much content into the story, which from its large supporting cast is a possibility.

The film is set to be released on 22 March 2018 in Australia, check out the trailer below.
