‘Star Wars’ Meets ‘Arrested Development’ in New Parody Video

Star Wars fans and fans of the hit TV series Arrested Development will enjoy this new parody intro for A New Hope in the signature Arrested Development style, narrated by none other than Ron Howard.

Ron Howard of course being the original narrator on Arrested Development, which ran for 3 seasons between 2003 and 2006 before making a long anticipated return in 2013 for its 4th season.

The show became an instant classic following its initial release, however its most recent season failed to recapture the same amount of comedy genius on display in the first 3 seasons.

Not that it was bad, but the massive break between seasons made it harder for the creators to bring back the same type of comedic flow to households, as this series is best watched consecutively for the best, and funniest effect.

A 5th season has been commissioned by Netflix to premiere in 2018, and I can only hope that the 5 years between the last, and the new season doesn’t hurt the show.

This new parody video comes right on time to promote the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story standalone film, which is due to hit cinemas on 24 May 2018 in Australia.

Check out the video below, and May the 4th be with you!
