A teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming documentary The Hurt Business, which is an inside look into the sports of Mixed Martial Arts, featuring interviews with some of the sports biggest names and narrated by Kevin Costner.
Going by the trailer, the documentary looks like it has been produced to a very high standard, which makes sense considering It’s directed by Vlad Yudin, who directed the fantastic bodybuilding documentary Generation Iron in 2013.
Generation Iron was a look into the competitive bodybuilding scene and was very reminiscent of the famous Schwarzenneger documentary Pumping Iron, so if Yudin can bring the same elements he brought to that doco to this one, then it should make for some interesting viewing.
The Hurt Business looks like it will cover all aspects of Mixed Martial Arts, including its culture, the medical concerns around the sport and the reasons why the fighters fight.
It features interviews with some of the biggest names in the sport’s history, including Ronda Rousey, Jon Jones, George St. Pierre and is being narrated by film star Kevin Costner.
From the producers of ‘Bowling for Columbine’, ‘Fahrenheit 9/11’ and ‘Generation Iron’ comes ‘The Hurt Business’ which examines the rise of mixed martial arts fighting through the eyes of today’s top stars.
