Check out the trailer for Good Kids, a teen comedy film starring Zoey Deutch, inspired by films like the American Pie series.
The film follows a bunch of stereotypical high-school geeks, who set out to do all the fun things they’ve yet to do before hitting college.
We’ve seen countless numbers of teen comedies similar in nature to this and more often than not they never manage to live up to expectation, however judging by the trailer for Good Kids, this looks like it could stand out from the pack.
The casting appears to be spot on and it looks like the filmmakers have set the right comedic tone.
It’s also fair to assume that the trailer has purposefully left out the best laughs that may feature in the film, which is how all comedy film trailers should be, as there’s nothing worse than when a film’s trailer reveals all the best bits.
The film is directed by Chris McCoy who makes his directorial debut here and stars Zoey Deutch, Ashley Judd, Nicholas Braun and Demian Bichir.
Good Kids is out now in Australia on digital platforms, and is due out for release in theatres and digitally in America on October 21.
