As far as epic-scale filmmaking goes, there’s a lot of competition nowadays, though Godzilla 2 looks like it will soon be the one to beat.
When a new batch of ‘titans’ aka giant monsters reveal themselves to the world, the human race must join forces with their nemesis Godzilla to take them down.
They’ll battle the likes of legendary monsters Mothra, Rodan and Godzilla’s number one foe, the three-headed King Ghidorah.
It’s the ultimate battle of giants in the final trailer for Godzilla II: King of the Monsters as we see much of the destruction to come in this new film.
The humans are forced to join in the battle against King Ghidorah with Godzilla by their side in order to save the world from being dominated by this new threat.
What we can expect is a battle royale of epic proportions in the upcoming sequel to 2014’s Godzilla, as the stakes for the survival of the human race become higher than ever.
The film is also set in the same universe as 2017’s Kong: Skull Island and continues the trend of producing some awesome cinematography and production design.
Simply put, the film looks picturesque and beautiful, each frame looking like a piece of art.
Godzilla 2 stars Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, Aisha Hinds, O’Shea Jackson Jr., David Strathairn, Ken Watanabe, and Zhang Ziyi.
It hits cinemas on 30 May 2019, check out the awesome new trailer below.
