Good guys turn bad and bad guys turn good in the second official trailer for the 8th film in the Fast & Furious franchise.
I am of course referring to Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto playing the villain in the upcoming film, and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw joining the good guys to help take him down.
There’s no doubt in my mind that Toretto is being forced to go against his crew in this upcoming film, no matter what the trailers will have you believe.
Either way, the story is generally the least important aspect in this film franchise, as we all know it’s all about the action, and The Fate of the Furious looks like it will be stepping it up big time.
The last film’s action was crazy, so it’s on the filmmakers to top that now, and it appears they have done so as you’ll see in the trailer below.
F. Gary Gray, the director of the outstanding film Straight Outta Compton (2015) takes over the reigns on this one, and the film features all the regular faces we’ve become accustom to in this franchise, with the new addition of Charlize Theron as the film’s lead villain.
Whether you love or hate these films, there’s no denying the casting is great and the films are some of the best cinematic guilty-pleasure movies of the modern day.
The Fate of the Furious hits cinemas on 12 April 2017 in Australia, check out the second official trailer below.
