‘Early Man’ – Trailer for Stop-Motion Film from Wallace and Gromit Creator

Nick Park, the creator of the Wallace and Gromit franchise and Chicken Run (2000), delivers his next stop-motion film Early Man, and it looks to meet the standards he’s set with his past work.

Early Man is set between the Stone and Bronze Ages of history, and follows protagonist Dug (Eddie Redmayne) and his sidekick Hognob, as they unite their tribe to take on the villainous Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age city.

You’ll notice from the trailer that the film contains the same brand of humour featured in the Wallace and Gromit series and movie, and it’s full of charm, along with a relatable storyline.

Along with that, is some outstanding stop-motion clay-animation, which is an impressive feat unto itself.

The film looks to tick all the boxes required for an entertaining, and richly thoughtful kids film, but one that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Going by this first trailer, it looks like Park and his team will get there.

Early Man hits Australian cinemas on 29 March 2018, however lucky UK citizens will get it on 26 January 2018, with the US shortly after on 16 February 2018.

What did you think of the trailer for this one?
