70mm film

Yarraville’s Sun Theatre is set to host a week-long film festival showcasing 7 epic films shot in glorious 70mm film, in the lead-up to the release of Murder on the Orient Express.

The Sun Theatre is a vintage inspired cinema in the heart of Melbourne’s inner-west, with it’s old-school decor making for an unforgettable movie watching experience.

The theatre has been host to many a 70mm release in the past, with last year’s The Hateful Eight (2015) becoming the most successful film in Sun Theatre’s history, still screening to this day, in its 21st month!
